¡Hola a todos!
Ya estoy de vuelta tras un poco de tiempo de desconexión, a veces hay que dejar un poco de espacio para hacer las cosas bien, ¿verdad? ♥. Hoy vengo con otra review de un libro muy especial, que ya sabéis que acompaño de una manicura. A muchas os sonará, y a las que os resulte nuevo os lo recomiendo totalmente. ¡Vamos a verlo!

I'm back after taking some time off, sometimes it's better to leave and take some space in order to do things well, right? ♥. Today I'm here with another book review, this one is very special, and as you already know I'm doing a nail art to match the book. The title may ring a bell on some of you, but those who doesn't I totally recommend you to read it! Let's go!
Dónde viven los monstruos es un cuento infantil, escrito e ilustrado por Maurice Sendak. El libro cuenta con páginas apaisadas en dónde tienen mayor importancia las ilustraciones, las cuales harán las delicias tanto de los más pequeños de la casa como de los mayores. El libro se ha traducido a varios idiomas y además cuenta con su propia adaptación cinematográfica.

‘Where the wild things are’ is a children's book, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. The book has horizontal pages where we can see its marvelous illustrations, this will delight either children or adults. The story has been translated to several languages, it also has its own movie adaptation.
Nuestro pequeño protagonista es un niño llamado Max, le gusta hacer travesuras e ir disfrazado como un monstruito. Su mal comportamiento hará que su madre le castigue sin cenar en su habitación. Mientras Max se encuentra castigado la habitación se transformará en una selva donde se embarcará en una aventura y encontrará dónde viven los monstruos.

Our main protagonist is a little child named Max, he loves doing pranks while he wears his monster costume. His mother punished him without dinner due to his bad behaviour. Meanwhile Max is grounded without leaving his room something magical will happen, suddenly his own room becomes a jungle, he will live an adventure and he will discover where the wild things are .
¿Suena interesante? ¡Seguro que disfrutaréis la historia y las ilustraciones, que son una belleza! Para el nail art representativo he escogido una de las páginas ilustradas y la he dibujado en mis uñas. En esta página vemos a Max y sus amigos monstruos trepando por los árboles de la jungla y yo los he pintado encima de una base blanca y azulada con pintura acrílica.
¡Me ha requete encantado el resultado! Pero me he tenido que armar con muchísima paciencia para lograr el nivel de detalle, unas buenas horas de relax con mis pinceles no me las ha quitado nadie haha.

Doesn't it sound interesting? I'm sure you will enjoy either the story or the illustrations, they're gorgeous! For the nail art I chose one of the illustrated pages and drew it on my nails. On this page we can see Max and his monster friends climbing through the jungle trees, I painted them over a white and blue base with acrylic paints.
I absolutely loved the final result! But I had to have lots of patience to achive the level of detail, some relaxing hours with my brushes and paints haha.
