¡Hola a todos!
Estoy de vuelta con un Game&Nails, no sé si os lo dije pero va a ser una sección mensual, ¡tengo demasiados videojuegos de los que hablaros!. Este mes toca uno bien sencillito y entretenido que lo mismo no os suena de nada, ¡pero ya estoy aquí yo para presentároslo! ¿Qué me decís, os pica la curiosidad?

I'm back with a Game&Nails, don't know if I had already told you that is going to be a monthly section, I have so many videogames I want to talk and nail about! Today we have one super simple and funny, maybe it doesn't ring a bell but don't worry, here I am to introduce it to you! What do you say, are you curious about it?
VVVVVV es un videojuego plataformas que apareció en el 2010, su creador es Terry Cavanagh al cual se le conoce por la simplicidad estética de sus juegos. De hecho Terry se inspiró en su infancia a la hora de desarrollar el videojuego y podemos observar su parecido a los juegos de commodore 64. Así mismo la música se asemeja al chiptune usado por la antigua computadora, lo podéis comprobar con la maravillosa banda sonora creada por Magnus Pålsson llamada PPPPPP.

VVVVVV is a platform videogame that was released in 2010, it's developer Terry Cavanagh is well-known by the aesthetic simplicity of its games. As a matter of fact Terry was inspired in his childhood when he created the game, we can observe it's resemblance to the commodore 64 games. In the same way the music resembles to the classic chipture used by older computers, you can confirm it listening the wonderful soundtrack created by Magnus Palsson called PPPPPP.
¿Queréis saber un poquito sobre su historia? El capitán Viridian y su tripulación (Verdigris, Violet, Victoria, Vermillion y Vitellary) navegan por el espacio en la nave D.S.S. Souleye hasta que se ven afectados por una interferencia dimensional. Para evitar sufrir daños deciden usar el transportador, durante este proceso hay un fallo y toda la tripulación quedará desperdigada en la dimensión VVVVVV. Nuestro valeroso capitán deberá salir a su rescate y traerlos de vuelta a la nave.
A diferencia de otros juegos plataformas no se nos dará la oportunidad de saltar, para explorar la dimensión de VVVVVV deberemos alternar la gravedad a nuestra voluntad. De esta manera Viridian será capaz de caminar por los techos y así poder esquivar a los enemigos, así como sortear peligros que se encuentran en las diferentes fases. ¿Logrará Viridian rescatar a su tripulación?

Wanna know a little about the story? Captain Viridian and its crew (Verdigris, Violet, Victoria, Vermillion y Vitellary) are flying through the space on the ship D.S.S. Souleye until they get affected by a dimensional interference. To avoid suffering any damage they decide to use the transporter but during the process an error happens and all the crew will be scattered through the dimension VVVVVV. Our brave captain will have to go out and rescue every single one of them.
Unlike other platform games we will not have the option to jump, in order to explore the VVVVVV dimension we will have to alter the gravity at our will. This way Viridian will be able to walk on roofs avoiding its enemies and de different dangers that he will encounter on the different stages. Will Veridian manage to rescue its crew?
¿Os ha parecido interesante? Yo os aseguro que es de lo más entretenido y original, ¡se pasan las horas volando intentando recorrer toda la dimensión! Para el nail art quise representar una de los niveles y para ello usé una base de color negra, el esmalte que veis es el Kind of Black de Colour Alike (lo podéis conseguir en ELYT y con mi código WICKEDFULLMOON os saldrá un 15% más baratillo ♥). Los detalles los dibujé con acrílico blanco que después fui rellenando con azul y magenta, también acrílicos. Tenemos al capitán Viridian intentando llegar al punto de guardado a través de todos esos pinchos.

Did you find it interesting? I can tell you it's super entertaining and original, time flies once you begin to explore the whole dimension! In the nail art I wanted to draw one of the stages, I used a black base for it. The black nail polish you can see on the photo is Kind of Black from Colour Alike (Find it on ELYT and with my code WICKEDFULLMOON you'll get a 15% off ♥). The details are drawn with white acrylic paint that I refilled with blue and magenta acrylic later. We have Captain Viridian trying to reach the save point through all the spikes.
